Greek Key Dresser

Look what Bri did to her dresser

using this inspiration from 1st dibs.

It was like a lightbulb went off in my head. I found the last piece to the puzzle for the guest bedroom with a few modifications.

I am going to use this dresser from Target

and make it look a little more like this from Clayton Gray Home.

What progress have I made so far you ask?? One drawer is put together... ugh. Off to "build."

Living Room Design Board

This board I made for a fellow blogger. She had most of the main pieces for the room and needed help giving the room a cohesive look. I love the way it turned out!

Guest Bedroom Drapes

I SEWED drapes for the guest room. I am pretty impressed with myself. Yes, I know you just sew four straight lines but let me bask in my success :)

There really is no good angle in this room and it doesn't help that I took it at night...

After looking at this picture, I am thinking I need to hem them up a little more. Oh well!

Outdoor Decor: Navy and Coral

With the temperatures rising, I can't help but think about decorating my outside space. It is a blank canvas right now since we have devoted most of our efforts inside the house. I have plans for it this summer starting with injecting a little color!

I bought this planter from Home Depot a few months back on clearance for $7. Yep. It was originally $34 and I fell in love with but decided to wait. Good thing I did!

Then when Joi posted about this outdoor trellis knockoff from Target, I knew it would be perfect with the coral!

What a perfect color combination for the outdoors! Hubby's grandpa is building us a couple of white Adirondack chairs and these will be the perfect complements!

Have you started decorating your outdoor space?

Dining Room Board

Happy Wednesday! Today I have a dining room design for you. This client is inheriting a wooden farmhouse style table and needed help pulling together a modern space that felt slightly formal but still casual enough to feel comfortable. I chose a graphic rug and simple, modern chairs to contrast the farmhouse table, which will create interest. I chose the glass link chandelier to add a little glam factor, which lends itself to the formal feeling. The fabric is a metallic linen for the curtains and I can't wait to see how they turn out!

Let me know what you think! If you are interested in a design board, email me at michelle.leigh.henderson {at} gmail.com.

Perfection.

Can you believe how amazing Jamie's guest bedroom is?

This has officially become the inspiration for my office. I guess I should finish the guest bedroom first, huh? Is it really March? Could I possibly ask any more questions?
