I have found the perfect rug for the bedroom! Thank you, Rugs USA, for offering a nice alternative to the vintage Beni Ourain rugs.
I am going to do 2 5 x 7's to make a 10 x 14 since our bedroom is pretty large. Even if there "JULY75" discount code is a marketing gimmick, it feels pretty good to go from $1366 to $340.
Oh and did I mention that the walls are going black in the bedroom? Well, not until we officially own it, but after that - black it is!
Girl, I love this rug too! Have used it in many designs.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I saw another blogger feature this rug and I ordered it earlier this week for my office! Such a great price and it's WOOL!

I just saw these on Instagram the other day and almost purchased one immediately! I tried to convince my husband, but unfortunately the room that I wanted to put it in doesn't even exist in our home (yet). Maybe I can convince him with that discount code though!
ReplyDeleteOoooooh, thanks so much for posting about this! We are moving at the end of the month and we'll be needing some new rugs for our space, so this is perfect timing!
ReplyDeleteAre you going to actually connect the rugs or just lay them down together? If you do opt to connect them, I'd love to know how you do it. I need a larger rug (for my dining room) and am thinking of going the multi rug route now that you mentioned it.

I haven't decided yet. I think I am going to play it by ear and see how it works without connecting them first. Since they will be under the bed, I think they might be ok. If I do connect them, I would probably just do a simple stitch all the way down - here is a post about stitching rugs together!

Love the rug you found and putting two smaller rugs together is a perfect idea! Can't wait to see the black walls - they are going to look fabulous!
