Say Cheese

If you are looking to add a little personality to your space on the cheap, there is no better way than throwing up a vintage portrait. They add tons of character and can change the entire mood of a room.

I am still kind of dying over the portrait in this Lonny living room. And not to mention that the designer found it from a street vendor for next to nothing! I think I need it.

But in order to tide my over until it shows up on my doorstep, I have found some other fun vintage portraits that will do the trick!

What do you think? Are you on the portrait bandwagon?

I love that.  I have been scouring the vintage stores here to find something for our study.  I am kind of into line art of naked people...the hubs not so much.

I've been on the lookout for these for a couple of years, but I feel like I haven't found that

Love this idea-especially the one over the fireplace. I have often thought of using a photo of my grandmother from her high school graduation (it has a lot of pastel tones)...I just didn't know how. This might be a good way to incorporate it into my home!

This is such a great idea! I have so old portraits or family members. I 'm looking forward to incorporating them into my home now!

I LOVE a good bold portrait.  Admittedly, also smitten with the first pick you showed.  Gotta keep looking for accidentally found art.
